Amber P. Garrett, graduate of both Hampton University and The Boston Conservatory, is hailed for her "robust, connected voice with intense conviction”. Her accomplishments are diverse and noteworthy, including performing for dignitaries around the world such as the late Justice Ginsburg, University Presidents, and NATO Dignitaries. She has collaborated with organizations such as the TODAY Television Show, Virginia Opera, Chautauqua Opera , Des Moines Metro Opera, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Got Black Listed, River City Opera, Castle of our Skins, Tidewater Area Musicians, and The Chrysler Museum just to name a few. She also made her European Debut, earning a standing ovation, as Suor Angelica in Naples, Italy and enthralling audiences in recital along the Amalfi Coast. Committed to diversity in her artistry, she established APMusic LLC, and also arranged, produced and released her debut album,“Project: Journey”, showcasing her versatility and depth. Amber has made history, becoming the first artist to record the role of Queen Mother in the 2023 GRAMMY-nominated opera "X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X” with Odyssey Opera and Boston Modern Orchestra Project. She also sang Social worker in this production. Most recently, she has launched Project: Factions- This is my story™, a recital hub with a focus on women's empowerment, fused with classical, contemporary music and art song. This “thrilling artist” seeks inclusion in classical music and provides genuine, heart-stirring performances that resonate globally.
